The Lost Recipes of the Einhorn Tea Room

The Einhorn Tea Room served delicious food in a restored Victorian mansion in a small Midwestern town during the 1980s.

Despite its popularity it was forced to close so the building could be used for other purposes.

As a way of saying goodbye the owners hastily prepared a set of their recipes that was nothing more than a bunch of hand-typed pages that had been photocopied.

During a spring cleaning I came upon a copy I had that had been stored in a box with some old books all these years.

As I went through the recipes I remembered the great food and fun times at the Einhorn and decided to take the time to put them into book form carefully rewriting and reformatting them so they could live on.
