Be Ye Reconciled to God: A Look at the Atonement

Adequately explaining the atoning work of Christ has become one of the central issues of modern theology. Paul Peter Waldenstrom was a Swedish pastor who spent two years studying the atonement in the Bible, and found that some modern explanations of the atonement are not found in the biblical text. "Where is it written?" was his adage when discussing such questions. Waldenstrom directs us back to the biblical text for new understanding about the atonement.

"Be Ye Reconciled to God," first published by Men for Missions in 1963, pulls the best from Waldenström's much longer work, "The Reconciliation," which is no longer in print in English.
