Any person, seriously thinking about life with its never ending struggle and about inevitable death after a very short time, comes to the realization that if life has a beginning and an ending, there is no real value in such life. It does not matter how long I live if I die and that is all there is. It does not matter how I live my life, what I think, what I feel, what and whom I love or hate. It is real vanity of vanities if I die and nothing is left. Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. This part is not a soul, but something that is more valuable and gives the real freedom from death consciousness. (The fact is that only human beings have self-awareness on earth.)
