Description

This book contains a collection of dark and surreal tales that focus on final part of the journey known as ‘life’. There is the commonality in each story, as one or more of the characters completes their final chapter. The means, by which the final page comes to its conclusion, is both varied and twisting.
You will follow very different characters through their sometimes strange, sometimes seemingly ordinary or sometimes very unusual journey towards death. What you will discover is that all is not as it seems, as the disturbing and deviating path of each plot leads you into unexpected realms.

Warning from the author: There are scenes in some of these pieces of work that contain graphic imagery, which some readers may find disturbing.
“A terrifying joy to read.” 5 Stars.
“Amazing Stories.” 5 Stars.

If you are looking for a book filled with Vampires, Zombies or other scary monsters, you will not find them here. There are monsters in this book, but the monsters are people, or apparitions created in dark and disturbed minds. It is my established style to create disturbing, twisting, surreal and plausible worlds, as I think the closer you are to reality, but with a twist at the end, the greater the horror.
To give you a hint of what is in store for you, if you decide to risk reading this book, I will give a clue relating to the content of each story.
There are three mystery stories at the end of this book, which are part of the collection of short horror stories in my other book, SC@RE E-STORIES 17 #INTERNET #HORRORS. This book contains some adult rated horror, but the three stories included in this book fall into the 14+ category.
Curse: Don’t worry; the fortune-teller will keep an eye out for you, possibly both.
Eternity: We all have to die sometime, well most of us.
Rats: If you have an aversion to cute, little and furry rodents, you will love this, as they are not cute or little.
Snake: Check the credentials of your tattoo artist.
Old Nick: This story has a devilishly wicked plot.
Watch: The watchmaker has time to kill.
Malignancy: If a little lump suddenly appears, make an appointment with your doctor before it is too late.
Monkeys: This is a story that will make you pick your brains.
Where did I put that saw? This man’s wife has a head start.
Ghost: Can they really exist?
Cradle: The first part of a three-part story. Dystopian psychological thriller, beware he loves to torment you.
To: The second part of a three-part story. I wonder if Mary was cross as she died.
Grave: The third part of a three-part story. It’s someone’s final resting place, but whose?
Plus: Three stories from SC@RE E-STORIES 17 #INTERNET #HORRORS
