Hymn to Artemis

There are many things Artemis Woodwater cannot do: put food on the table, keep her paranoia in check, and read, among other things. When she and her friend, the softspoken Sibby Sherbrooke, are whisked away to Solvo from their dingy homes on the Isle, Artemis considers herself lucky. Solvo is clean and full of opportunity - but the white marble facade hides something dark, and only Artemis seems to sense it. Time is passing by and Artemis cannot seem to figure things out fast enough - but when things get personal, she must learn to push aside her insecurities and do what is right.
