He kissed her neck. His skin was rough, a bristle of five o’clock shadow abrading her tender skin.
“Two nights?†she managed to say.
He kissed a line down her neck and to her shoulder, then lifted her in his arms. “Mm.â€
Emma clasped her arms around his neck. Arousal stuttered and panic seeped into her mind. Two nights? Had he planned this all along? Hundreds of fantasies of Will had always started with her kissing him, and her imagination knew no fear or caution. Now all she could feel was stark terror. She was no seductress.
