An Ambassador's Notebook: A Tour of Duty on the Downtown Denver Streets

Today Denver, Colorado, is perhaps the hottest US metropolis one can call home. But ten years ago, the Mile High City was a city in transition, a rising 21st century powerhouse struggling with issues of street crime, homelessness, and increasing urban gentrification. The Ambassador's Notebook is a snapshot of a day on the streets and the lives caught between competing forces. Told from the point of view of a city Ambassador, a walking tour guide / homeless outreach worker / glorified hall monitor, we get an inside look into any given day on early 21st century downtown Denver streets.
