This book encompasses lecture notes for a senior/graduate level course in Soil Chemistry. It is not intended to serve as a full text book, but to provide sufficient understanding of the soil chemical system for understanding literature on the subject. Over the years soil chemistry has been an important component of understanding fertility levels, but with the increasing concern associated with potential pollution problems it has become a critical aspect of maintaining soil health in general. With the base presented in this book, readers are encouraged to continue their own education on this subject.
