Cloud Hands: Origins of Taijiquan: A Fiction

Peeling back the legendary, the historical, and the lessons in between, Cloud Hands tells the story of this powerful art’s creation and its evolution through the ages, told through the true life story of He Zhaoyuan, a man admired for his combat ability as well as his skill in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Beginning with the early days of He Zhaoyuan’s training onto his employment in the Capital as a bodyguard, Cloud Hands details the interactions of the famous masters of the day, from the well known Chen Family and Yang Luchan to the mysterious method of Zhaobao Taijiquan, said to be the original form of this treasured art, a style only recently being taught in the world at large.

Fighting scenes reminiscent of old Kung Fu movies share the story with accurate descriptions of Traditional healing methods, court intrigue and the mysterious Mountain Men of the Wudang Temple.
