SELF IN SELF AND RISEN

The earliest Christian creeds were drama, and not metaphysics or abstract
doctrines. It was the descent of God into a world of death eternal death, and then
the rising of God into the world of Eternal Life. That was the earliest Christian
creed, but man turned around and made rituals and ceremonies and self purifications,
and all these, and they call it Christianity. But they are all in vain
all of them. There is a way back, and only one way back. It is all described for us
in Scripture.
