Description

The Invisible and her Imaginary Friend

There is some symbolism behind the purpose of a invisible girl and an imaginary friend. The purpose typically of a imaginary friend in the mind of a child is to fill a void or to inspire characters that are represent strength or lack of. It is ultimately a beginning of a growth process. In the book I wanted to keep her invisible because it is an metaphor for her feeling misunderstood and unknown during this process of self discovery. She creates a imaginary friend who rebels against the common standards of social perspectives which adds to her ability to develop a since of self eventually. Just to add the irony of the book is that the imaginary friend is visible and different looking the girl is invisible due to her current sense of self.

The background images co exist with the imagination of the human mind in spontaneous perspective image developing (SPID) with little to no effort.
