A Story of a Great Friendship: Hausa Folklore is a collection of lively and pure Hausa legends. Hausa folklore incorporates tatsunya— stories that usually have a moral. The tatsunyas contain animals, young men and maidens, and heroes and villains. In order for the moral of the story to be learned, many tatsunyas incorporate proverbs and riddles.
