Once she was back at her office she began to craft her letter to Matt. She decided it would be best if she included things such as it being best for the companies and for his personal growth and how she felt like she would hold him back and that she just couldn’t move on from her past hurt. She spent the rest of her afternoon drafting the letter. While she wanted more than anything to be with someone who made her happy and cared for her she just couldn’t bring herself to believe that this was the man for her. Things were just too perfect and too amazing and she had always grown up under the ideals that if it’s too good to be true then it probably is. It was better to cut her losses now before she wound up more entangled or emotionally involved just to pick up the pieces of her heart later. Reading over the email one more time she took a deep breath and clicked the send button. A few moments later her office phone rang.
