The Marriage Contract

Meet Dorothy Web. Twenty two years old, and struggling to survive in the big city. Ever since she moved to New York to join a theatre program, making ends meet has been tough.

While she works part time as a maid at Hotel Bellevue, one of the top five hotels in the world, she stumbles upon James Bellevue, part time heir, and full time jerk.

Upon their first meeting, it's hate at first site for her and a curious fascination for him. To make matters worse, James offers her a proposal that could make everything in her life, a million times easier.

A marriage proposal.

James, the man who's lived his entire life looking down on the poor, has been threatened by his parents to either get married, or get cut off. James needs a girl that won't cling on to him, emotionally or financially, and to his luck, meets the sweet but feisty Dorothy.

To James, she's perfect. Well, perfect for his plan anyway. If he and Dorothy can stay married for a whole year, his dyeing grandfather will put a chunk of the family assets in his name. The question is, will Dorothy agree to marry James in the hopes of a struggle free life?
