Lessons of the Heart (A Durant Story Book 1)

Amanda Parker likes her life in the city. Little does she know how quickly her life is about to change after a middle of the night phone call. Her grandmother is in the hospital and can't go home unless someone is there with her. Dr. Greg Sanders expects Amanda to be that person.

Once back in her small hometown, Amanda makes it clear to everyone that her visit is only temporary. She'll fill in for the kindergarten teacher until Thanksgiving but then she's back to her life in the city.

Her feelings about the small town begin to change as she becomes more involved. She suspects some of her change of heart could be due to the doctor. Each time she's with him, she cares a little more about what he thinks of her. But after all her words to the contrary, can she convince him and the others that she really wants to stay? And that this time, her move will be more than temporary?
