Mehmet Ali thought and thought and finally decided, since no one in France had ever seen a giraffe, he'd pick just the right giraffe from his own personal zoo to present to King Charles. He chose beautiful, young Zarafa! The journey this pretty little giraffe takes to her new home in Paris, France is quite an adventure! And it's all true.
