Screams woke Ebony during every full moon for as long as she could remember. She didn't know who was screaming or why, but she did know that the pleas for help were coming from the family barn. The last thing she expected was that she would find out the month of her thirteenth birthday what the Community and Council were doing at the Full Moon celebration and why.
