What would you do if you had a secret that could tear your whole family apart?

Growing up in a single parent family with her younger sister Elle, Ariel had to grow up before her time and take on a matriarch role. She would do anything to prevent any harm coming to her younger and more naive sibling.

When Elle is involved in a near fatal accident, she is left in a coma for five months, unbeknownst to anyone but Ariel of the circumstances surrounding her accident.
When Elle wakes up, she has no recollection of what happened in the hours before the accident.
Ariel must now try to keep up appearances and prevent anyone from discovering the truth of what really happened and keep up the web of lies that will keep her family together.
