Reading Response Forms Gr. 5-6

Give your early middle school students the tools to demonstrate their understanding and to share their thinking about the literature that they have read. Our Reading Response Forms are flexible, open ended, written to grade and can be used in conjunction with all varieties of literature. Each worksheet focuses on one of the following skills based on Bloom’s Taxonomy including: remembering, understanding, applying, analysing, evaluating, and creating. You can also use this material to supplement your present reading program or to use for independent student work. Also included is a detailed implementation guide, student assessment rubric, word puzzles and comprehension quiz. The six color graphic organizers will assist the introduction of the skill focus and in guiding your students through the thought process to complete an introductory sheet. All of our content meets the Common Core State Standards and are written to Bloom's Taxonomy.
