This book has about 54,000 words and is a true story of one man’s dream, my dream, of being a writer and living in a cabin in the woods. It seemed impossible at times for me to ever achieve that dream and most would have never attempted to even try to do what I did. Because of my faith and what seems like a divine hand guiding me, I pressed on to do what I felt was my purpose and my destiny.
This is my story of how I had a dream and tried to follow it. It tells of all the trials and tribulations I endured and how I kept going to fulfill that dream.
While trying to achieve this dream, I lost my mother, my wife, my children, my job, and my home. I had no money, no job and no home, yet I had faith.
Later, by this faith, I built a cabin by hand, using only a hammer and a handsaw. I dug my own well, installed solar electric and became a nationally published writer. Then, when I thought I had almost made it, I lost nearly everything again. I lost my best friend, my father, and my loving wife whom I had found not long before. I also nearly lost a son.
Picking up the pieces, I again began trying to follow that dream. This is that story and it is not over yet for there are several more chapters in my life. You, too, will become part of that dream when you read this book.
