How To Write Everlasting Characters

Every novel, every saga of stories, every tall tale and ancient myth relies on the relationship between the reader and the central character of the story. Without this relationship, the events of the story might as well be a dream well-forgotten, an article swept over by glazed, absent eyes. Without good characters, the story seems incomplete. The experience seems inadequate. You’ll never be a great writer without great characters.
