The Scholar's Key is a teen-to-teen advice book aimed at motivating students to apply for scholarships. It was written shortly after the height of Donovan’s senior year of high school when he received several award letters from national scholarships such as the Gates Millennium Scholarship and the Buick Achiever Scholarship. In this book, Donovan shares how molding your future begins with self-reflection, and motivates you to act on your goals. The Scholar's Key isn't just limited to scholarship tips. This book includes a variety of elements such as poetry, personal stories, college advice for freshmen, and several stories from other fellow scholarship recipients from the class of 2011.
