Detachment B-52 (Project Delta) Reconnaissance Tips of the Trade 15 August 1970 Vietnam was prepared by Detachment B-52. Commanders of all units are encouraged to disseminate, widely, the information contained herein. The information is presented in the attached “Recon Tips” is appropriate for use in unit and individual training of US and indigenous personnel. Such information can be of significant value to units engaged in conventional patrolling as well as special reconnaissance units.

Herein lists over 200 tips ranging from Load Bearing Equipment, Recon, Forward Air Controller (Fac), Remain Overnight (Ron), Breaking out of Encirclement, Prisoner of War Snatch, Movement Techniques, Infiltration / Exfiltration to list a few.
