Nick is the alcoholic right hand man for Vitriano, one of the most powerful mafia bosses in all of New York. He is a loyal soldier for the mob until he meets Madeleine, Vitriano's latest acquisition.

Madeleine is urbane and sophisticated, clearly out of her element working in the mafia owned strip club. She quickly falls for Nick and the two struggle to escape the clutches of the mob boss.
