SUPERS: The Rise of a Villian

Grant Ward has a secret, he has super powers. Ward has used his powers to act out all of his childhood fantasies as a super hero, just like many others with super powers. When a capture goes badly on live t.v. and kills hundreds of civilians, the public demands action. The gifted registration act becomes law, mandating that anyone with super powers register with the government so the general public can know who exactly is living alongside them. The most powerful Super Hero teams, the Patriots and the Justic Company are on opposite sides, when Grant Ward registers and gets his family killed for his trouble, war erupts.
