Dragon Knights living in the year 1287AK (After Kasieth War) protect the realm of Papyus against Witchcraft. The practicing of magic was ruled out after the Yavasta War, which saw the single most darkest power extinguished by the Elves.
Ralof Blackheart, an orphan after the death of his parents and sacking of his village joins the Knights after being saved by an unlikely figure. Joining the Knights and living through experiences, Ralof despises all practising of Witchcraft, and aims to hunt down and kill any who practice so; including his brother who abandoned him in search for power. Leading him to journey to Elvish cities, Dwarven strongholds and Orcish mines.

Ralof’s younger brother Balor journeys in a separate direction, seeking out the Original Seven Warlocks in the Tismark Mountains to increase his power and knowledge to spite his older brother.
Balor discovers he is much more than just a blacksmith’s son after growing closer with the Master Warlock, who explains his true heritage and entrusts him with a quest he may not be ready for.
Sending him on an adventure which drags him through some of the most darkest lands of Papyus.

A dark evil rests in the north of the main land; the mountain of Kasieth. The Dark Lord Zadicus had been plunged into his emerald grave after the battle of Kasieth, which saw Elvish and Dwarf alike assist in the eradication of all magic and Dragons. However, Zadicus is returning and amounting an army and alliances with old Kings over the sea. Through the help of his shadow warriors and twisted creatures he slowly begins to rise and take over his land once more.

Through these events, and betrayal of Lord’s, drama between King’s and their bastards; shapes the events that play forth, sending both brothers to second guess their actions and take on separate tasks. We meet other characters ranging from the Capital to over the seas.
Pirates, warrior women and even Dragons.
Every man and woman in Papyus has a role to play, and they play it well.
