Highway Landscape Planning & Construction

This book primarily elaborates the process and application of highway landscape planning and construction. Chapter 1 to 3 mainly states the connotation and characteristics of highway landscape function of the highway landscape design and the basic principle and method of highway landscape planning and construction. Combined with live examples, Chapter 4-7 introduces planning and construction method on the interconnection and crossing of various landscapes such as route, roadbed, tunnel and highway, which includes contents such as main pattern of manifestation, routing key points and landscape treatment, basic characteristics of road bed landscape, material for road bed construction, road bed greening, tunnel portal landscape construction, interconnection landscape construction, and greening landscape construction. This book is an integration of the author’s participation of scientific projects and practice in designing over 10 highway landscape constructions in cities and provinces all across China in recent years. This book can be used by highway landscape planning and designing personnel, and referred by vast highway design and management personnel.
