Falon's Ending: a twist in the tale of the mythic siren

This is the first of many short stories to come from rising Science Fiction and Fantasy writer, Siren Faye Butcher. Falon's Ending is a riveting tale about one young woman's journey out of her imprisoning surroundings and into a mystic future. The main character is a young marooned Falon. She leaves her sisters behind to journey to the mainland. On her journey, she finds love, inner strength and she accepts the powers she's fought so hard to denounce. The story concludes with a twist that causes the reader to question the truth of the story that unfolds in Falon's Ending.
