Mango Cottage: A Novel about Moving On

Amado Joey devoted sixty years of his life to supporting his younger brother. Now that his brother is gone, Amado has no idea what to do next. Lilly taught third grade for thirty years, and then she took care of her dying mother. After her mother’s funeral, Lilly knows she must start over someplace new.

Amado and Lilly both move to Maui to reflect on their lives and enjoy their remaining years. They are healthy, independent, and self-sufficient, and deep down inside both of them long for a true friend. The only problem is they are so shy they might never meet.
