Shawnee Warrior: Vision Quest

Nathan Lewis is a twelve year old Native American living in west central Ohio. He wants to learn more about his Native heritage. Dad, Al Lewis and mom Ruth Lewis start the journey to teach their children Nathan and his 10 year old sister Nicole the ways of their ancestors. Follow Nathan through his rite of passage task where he encounters some wild live known to be dangerous, his vision quests where his another encounter with the same wild life and becoming a Shawnee Warrior. He learns to dance the traditional style of dance. His sister learns the jingle dress dance. Together along with their parents they travel to many powwows in the region. Many rewards come their way as they travel the red road to learn their heritage.
