Shubhranshu Dutta, a boy of 16, has already made his mark in free verse poems. Being addicted to reading and writing, he has published his work in various magazines and is currently an interim editor at an Indian magazine of great repute. He is an avid guitarist with an undue interest in thrash metal. He is also a debater and has been an envoy for the United Nations three times for his student program. Shreedeep Gangopadhyay is a professor of Electronics at Techno India, Salt Lake, where he has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses since 2010. An occasional author, he writes in English and Bengali. His writings are deep, often bordering on nostalgia. He periodically writes witty, humorous, and satirical anecdotes. He regularly maintains his own blog, in which he shares writeups on a variety of topics, including literary items, social issues, and poetry. He is an occasional content writer at hindutav.com. Recently he has been working on a collection of short stories and poems as well. His secret dream is to create a memorable sleuth. He is set to publish his first book on Amazon Kindle. Renee Waterfield McDaniel has been a singer/songwriter for over twenty years, but poetry is what first inspired her to pick up the pen. She believes lyrics and music are, after all, forms of poetry, but a few months ago she started to focus on poetry alone, wanting to develop the ability to express herself through poems instead of just music. By challenging herself, she has been able to create pieces she is proud of and that she finds moving. She loves to write with a melodic style in free verse, but strives not to fall into that class repetitively. These are her first published poems.
