Why Jesus?

Jesus came into this world naked, helpless, fragile, and vulnerable. He knew hunger, thirst, and pain. He knew ridicule, rejection, and death. He came to identify with us!
He came to show us how to live life authentically and to its fullest, even amidst the trials and tribulations of life. He came to show us that being human is about being virtuous, and that being virtuous leads to happiness.
In the religions of the world, including the religion of atheism, man is made into a god. In Christ, God became man, immortality became mortal, spirit became flesh, and heaven came to earth. Within this mystery is found the answer to being human, fully, authentically human.
