This story starts with a blasting crew for a road construction company that in their latest mega blast unearthed a device the shape of a pyramid without the point at the top. Not knowing whether it was of terrestrial origin or could it be from beyond the earth, and to be so deep in the mountain and in ancient lava rock had it been thrown into a volcano or ????? the events following, trying to understand or at least some explanation of its purpose sent the crew around the globe to find the remaining parts and when collected, assembled and the unit turned on, unearthly cataclysmic events with the possibility of all life ending results, even the destruction of the earth itself, but there was a special few that just may have the ability to survive, also there had been secret government missions with a base established on planet Mars. Could or would humanity survive either, and what was the device created for in the first place?
With the degree of destruction to planet earth, if life survived at all, it was in for dramatic changes. And could humanity continue and even evolve on a new planet?
