W.G. Fulda, creator of Prepare To Be ….
brings to you – for the very first time the skeletons in my closet, a six chapter vignette of some of life’s narratives laced with agitation, passion, joy, sorrow, rage, excitement, love, hunger and pure delight.

These stories are born steadfastly from the “need to be cathartic” and “my spirits persistence” led the author, to share private and sometimes painful events rather than taking them to the grave.

Author, W.G. Fulda, the name pays homage to Fulda’s birthplace in West Germany. The promise of a better and richer life entices the family to immigrate to the United States in 1957. Life changing choices of where to live “Detroit or Chicago?” and with the flip of a coin, they soon call Chicago home.

Their proud German heritage, together they instilled morals, ethics and most importantly – how to excel as enterprising property owners - at any cost.

What price will Fulda pay as the young life becomes dominated by money, the building of an enterprise of multiple successful businesses? A new marriage, children and then a move to another foreign place . . . “where in God’s name is Northwest Indiana?” Oh crap! 30 years later and I am still here!
