Cheryl Brown, a registered nurse with years of experience, relates this personal story along with her husband. After dating briefly, she and James, a former Marine, marry, and their lives are paradise for a few short months. James is unexpectedly brought down with an undetermined illness that leaves him unable to walk, unable to sleep, and in constant pain. The problem appears unsolvable as they meet with several physicians. It is only after consulting a specialist that they realize what James will be fighting or the rest of his life.
