it was like all other days except that veronica had bought a gift for victor, a precious gift indeed. Veronica was in love with victor from the day she met him at the job interview. Victor worked in the same office, just ten feet away from her but still it took her three long years to make the crucial decision. She longed for that day, but could never gather the courage. She had grown almost mad for victor, her obsession knew no bounds. But on that fateful day nothing could hold her back, she took the cab and reached victor’s home.
