STEELE: Death Trail

Riding across the blistering Nevada desert, Adam Steele comes upon a brutally tortured and dying Indian, and barely escapes when a search party of hostile braves arrives. As they learn that the merciless attack was led by the avid Indian hater, Captain Chilton from nearby fort Baxter, the enraged Shoshones swear revenge.
The Virginian is allowed to continue his journey, but he is given a warning: Chilton must be killed, and any whites who stand in the way will die. When the Shoshones discover that Chilton is to lead a wagon train south, their target is selected. Steele, who is escorting the train, is caught in the murderous crossfire, as he fights other men’s battles – and for his own life.
