The Park

A short story about love, loss, and finding friendship when you least expect it.

Early one morning, Rebecca visits the park she went to with her mother when she was eight. Arriving before sun-up, Rebecca is surprised to find that she's not the only one visiting the park at such an unusual hour. An eight year old girl wearing bunny slippers takes Rebecca on a journey through the park and to a moment in her past, forcing Rebecca to face the painful memories she's suppressed for ten years.
