This book was going to be a quick compilation of some of the tips and tricks I use or have heard about when making jewelry, organizing my work space, a basic list of tools, suggestions and ideas for making jewelry easier.

I started adding other tips, ideas and techniques that I found and pretty soon I had a pretty good collection.

If you are just starting your journey of making jewelry some of these tips and tricks will help your start be easier. I have gathered these from all over, many are from my own experience.

Making jewelry with beads and wire is not new. People have been wearing jewelry since the dawn of time and it doesn’t look like we will stop anytime soon.

When you first decide to make jewelry for yourself, you might feel a bit intimidated, but don’t let that stop you! If you push through, continue to make mistakes and jewelry, you will begin to see how easy and fun it can become.

Hopefully you can share this journey with a friend, maybe a teacher, but even if you go it alone, there are may sources of help, tips and tutorials available. You don’t have to learn the hard way if you read through and implement some of these to begin with! Most of these tips were learned the hard way by someone else.

If you have been making jewelry for a long time, you will most likely find a few tips as well. I know I sure did!
