Erica is a hip, intelligent and level-headed witch who generally never uses her powers for personal gain.

When Angela Harris, a prominent local journalist is found murdered, the town of Goodwill looks to Erica for help.

It won’t be easy, though. Angela was an investigative journalist who had upset practically everyone in the town at some point as she sought to expose crimes and misdemeanors. Moreover, she worked for a newspaper that had its own skeletons and dirty deeds.

As Erica soon discovers, it isn’t just magic that is home to the dark arts. Indeed, the world of local journalism is as murky as they come. The truth is out there, but in a world of cover-ups and false stories, how easy will it be to find it?
