Max is the story of Max Baer, a popular Jewish / American heavy weight boxer during the nineteen thirties. It is a semi biographical account of his fight with Hitler's favorite boxer and his struggle to gain redemption for the mistakes of his youth. It is a story of defiance, hope and courage as one man stands as a symbol for a downtrodden people destined to withstand an historic upheaval.
