WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE is a psycho-spiritual thriller that follows the mental
health symptoms of a twelve-year-old boy, Shawn Walters. Shawn's
psychological condition shifted from bad to worse after a near-death
experience at a pool party that his mother hosted for celebratory
reasons. Shawn's unexpected heart-attack in his family's swimming pool could
not be explained by any medical professional, resulting in his discharge a
few days later. Upon returning home from the hospital, Shawn wasn't himself.
Shawn's entire personality changed, adding more dysfunctions to his mental
instability. Shawn endured horrifying hallucinations of someone he knew all too well, which pushed him over the edge of sanity. Overwhelmed by fear, Shawn decided that death was the
easiest way out. After a failed suicide attempt, Shawn was admitted to
Mountain Springs Psychiatric Hospital.

Mountain Springs quickly observed unexplained and harrowing behaviors that
left the Doctors questioning whether or not Shawn was mentally ill, or
suffering from a spiritual affliction. Clueless and desperate for
assistance, Mountain Springs contacted Patrick Lucid, a psychotherapist
known for breaching the boundaries of modern psychiatry. Immediately, Patrick implemented his own theories to treat Shawn's disturbing symptoms. However, the closer Patrick inched to unraveling the truth behind Shawn's original identity, he too became plagued by demons residing in his own mind. In the end, you'll see that death is only the beginning.
