The Duke's Kiss

Simon Norrington, the Earl of Westbridge attends a party, never expecting to meet his destiny. A wager in a semi-darkened room produces the kiss that almost drives him crazy. The room is too dark for him to ascertain the identity of the woman he kisses. Fredericka, sister of the party’s host wasn’t wearing her spectacles so she couldn’t recognize the young man in question, even should she ever meet up with him again – a most unlikely happening!

The two of them think about that kiss an awful lot, all the while wishing they could find out the identity of the other party. Simon goes off to inspect his country estate, while Freddy, afraid of being forced into a marriage with a man she doesn’t know – or trust – flees her home.

But a matchmaker is on the prowl. She must convince Simon and Freddy that they are meant to be together – forever, not for just one kiss.
