I don't want to die from alcoholism. I'm desperate for answers to unlock permanent sobriety. My search began in November, 2007. Today, I am sober but it's so tentative. Alcoholism may not be viewed as a disease but it has flare ups, relapses and related conditions which will damage or end life. Sounds a lot like a disease to me.
