Enhancing Life Quality in Children with Autism

Early intervention for children with ASD is imperative for healthier adult functioning and for maintaining an overall greater quality of life. Each child is completely individual and unique, and intervention needs to be reflective on individual traits, characteristics, and abilities. Autism does not define the child. The child should not be viewed as a disabled, but should be viewed simply as a child, who just happens to have unique needs.
