Chronicles of Ghowndangard: The Master of Metals (The Son of the Dragon Book 1)

Ghowndangard Chronicles is a series of heroic fantasy, sword and sorcery, inspired by the Norse and Viking culture and mythology created by Alex Magnos in 2009.

The original idea behind "Chronicles" is writing story arcs counting different periods Donner Therondor's life (the Son of the Dragon) which is the central character in the saga. The story of the Donner Therondor's adventures take place in a fictional Nordic like world called Ghowndangard (although many of the real Norse mythology is present in the saga). Chronicles of Ghowndangard is full of epic and bloody battles, full of ruthless and bold warriors, powerful wizards, evil sorcerers and beautiful and sexy women, inhabited by dragons and haunted by terrible monsters that plague the kingdoms that spread over this mystic world whose destinations range from the sharp edge swords and evil wizards and sorcerers wisdom.

Here begins the Saga of Donner Therondor:

When he was a newborn baby, he was saved by Vothgar, when killers invaded the palace in Ghowndyath, to kill his father, King Baalrdomir. Vothgar was a general of high rank and great strategist in Baalrdomir king's army, and no one knew how the art forge weapons like him - hence he is called as "Vothgar, the Master of Metal". Donner grew hidden, protected by Vothger without knowing about his origin nor about the tragic end of his family, grew out of Ghowndyath away from his uncle, Bordenrath the Usurper, his father's murderer. Donner was educated in the art of war and the art of forging metal weapons by Vothgar who became his adoptive father and mentor.

However, to find that the son of Baalrdomir had not been killed, Bordenrath never had peace and his wizards searched all over the Ghowndangard using human and inhuman spies, beasts from beyond, enchantment and evil spells to find the last of the Dragon line. When finally the Bordenrath's assistants discover the whereabouts of Donner Therondor, Gundherag the wizard, which tall believed to be dead, since the time of Theron apeared to Vothgar, prompting the old blacksmith on the threat to the life of his protege.

Here begins the first story arc on Chronicles of Ghowndangard. Immerse us in this world of fantasy.
