Geoffrey Chaucer: The Complete Works

Geoffrey Chaucer is often called the Father of English literature, and he is commonly considered the greatest English poet of the Middle Ages. He was also the first poet to be buried in Poets' Corner of Westminster Abbey.

Chaucer already achieved great fame during his lifetime as an author, philosopher, alchemist and astronomer. His most famous works include the House of Fame, the Legend of Good Women, and The Canterbury Tales. The Canterbury Tales is today Chaucer’s most well known work and it continues to be widely read.

The collection contains Chaucer’s complete works as compiled by scholar Walter William Skeat.
