Beyond Inception: Real Lucid Dreaming Encounters

A lucid dream begins the moment you become aware that you are dreaming, and fully conscious of the experience even though your body is asleep. Although my dream partners and I live in different time zones across the globe, and have never physically met, we regularly interact in the dream space.

My personal journey in the emerging field of lucid dream sharing began in September 2012, when I met James Kroll at an online lucid dreaming forum. Shortly afterward, we began attempting to have a shared lucid dream, targeting two specific nights a week when we would try to meet up in the dream space. After less than a year, we presented our experiences at the 2013 International Association For the Study of Dreams Psiber Dream Conference. It was at this conference that I met Sean Dabbs, who had begun dream sharing with his eight year old daughter, Illeana. A few weeks later, Sean virtually introduced me to FlowofmySoul, a remarkable young man who is lucid in his dreams every night. Several months later, dreams led me to connect with Olivia and Becky.

This book contains a summary of my work with James Kroll, plus two years of experiments with a new group of dream partners. Our mutual successes have made it clear to us that transcending the constraints of time and space is a natural ability of consciousness, which partakes of both a material and a non-material existence.
