Adelay’s dreams are being haunted by an unfamiliar voice without a face, but that doesn’t stop her from welcoming this unseen visitor to her nightly. These (nightly) visits seem harmless until the messages he brings with him, begin to take on a dark foreboding warning to run away from an unseen force. The warnings he delivers are strong, leaving only one nightmarish puzzle left to figure out: is Adelay running from this messenger, something unknown, or herself?
Paranormal creatures are only delusions created from our own fragile minds. It’s what we have been taught by skeptics and non-believers. Adelay is quickly learning what should only live within our nightmares; actually co-exist with us every day and they are drawn to her more than most. An unexpected move from Colorado to New Hampshire finally brings her face to face with the haunting voice that has been invading her dreams for quite some time; a voice she didn’t know existed, let alone belonged to a desirable two hundred year old vampire named Davin. Now, Adelay is living every young woman’s fairytale dream romance with her perfect un-dead boyfriend. When Davin sheds some light on what has been harbored inside of her, a truth is unveiled; ultimately exposing herself and everyone she loves to impending danger, bringing the fairytale to an end quicker than it began. Upon the realization that not only is she in love with a creature of the damned, but she is also infected with a curse that was passed on from a departed gypsy, the battle has just begun. This curse that transpired once upon a time through an angel/human rendezvous, is one that all supernatural creatures want for themselves and a powerful werewolf will stop at nothing to possess it.
When a life or death situation unfolds, sometimes you have to give up your own happiness to save another. It’s a race against time to put a stop to this evil before her tainted blood ends up the wrong hands. Falling in love with a vampire proves to be more than she bargained for and double the heartbreak.
