Juniper Books - African American Literature Set

The set is presented in custom jackets featuring a reproduction of "The Library," a painting by African American artist Jacob Lawrence. The work is thought to depict the 135th Street Library in Harlem (now the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture) where Lawrence studied as a teenager.

Within these volumes are many classics including The Souls of Black Folk by W.E.B. Du Bois, Their Eyes were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston, and Black Boy by Richard Wright.

On the bookshelf this set measures 5.25 x 10 x 8.25 in. All books are brand new from the publishers, Library of America, Everyman's Library, and Modern Library, with jackets designed and printed by Juniper Books on a special tear and water resistant paper.
